SARASOTA, FL – October 22, 2018 – Financial advisor Robert Weiss, CFA®, has joined Provenance Wealth Advisors as a regional director and financial advisor based in the firm’s new Sarasota office. Weiss has more than 35 years of experience in investment strategies, financial planning and life insurance solutions.

In addition to his role as a financial advisor, Weiss will serve as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and help Provenance Wealth Advisors establish a presence in Sarasota. Weiss most recently worked at Morgan Stanley and previously worked for A.G. Edwards and TD Securities. Earlier in his career he was a bond trader in Canada and New York.
Weiss gives back to his community as a mentor with Take Stock in Children and the Boys and Girls Club of Sarasota. He is the treasurer and a member of the board of the Perlman Music Program/Suncoast.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), Weiss holds Series 3, 7, 24, 31, 63 and 66 licenses. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto.
