For more than 30 years, Sherry Varrelman has led high-performing wealth management teams in delivering integrated, holistic solutions tailored to each client’s unique goals. Her approach helps clients strategically grow their wealth, safeguard against risk, and build enduring legacies.
Sherry brings deep expertise in strategic planning, sales and profitcenter management, marketing innovation, and practice management. In her role at Provenance Wealth Advisors, she oversees the Investment Team, Advisory Group, and Marketing, aligning the firm’s growth strategy with an unwavering commitment to client excellence and fiduciary care.
Passionate about cultivating a culture of excellence, Sherry focuses on attracting and developing top talent, fostering collaboration, encouraging continuous learning, and delivering exceptional client experience.
Prior to joining Provenance Wealth Advisors, Sherry spent 11 years as Senior Vice President at TD Bank’s Wealth Management Group, where she led the Southern U.S. Wealth Management business. She later served as Head of Stakeholder Engagement, Strategy & Implementation, guiding organizational growth initiatives, talent development, and client engagement efforts.
Prior to her tenure at TD, Sherry spent five years with BNY Mellon Wealth Management as Managing Director and 15 years with Wachovia’s Wealth Management Group, where she held several senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Director for the MidAtlantic Region.
Sherry holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Merrimack College and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. She also holds Series 24, 7, and 66 licenses.
Sherry is deeply engaged in her community and has held leadership roles with numerous arts and civic organizations, including the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Forum of Executive Women, the American Heart Association, and the Blueprint to End Homelessness. She is especially passionate about supporting the education of innercity children and expanding their access to the arts. Her community contributions have been recognized through honors such as Pennsylvania’s 50 Best Women in Business, the March of Dimes Salute to Women of Achievement, and the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Women of Distinction Award.
Sherry and her husband, Dave, live in Jupiter, Florida. They enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with their four adult children and five grandchildren.
