Douglas Gerrard has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, both as a principal investor and as an advisor helping ultra-high-net worth individuals and families. Gerrard designs, implements and monitors complex life insurance and investment strategies aimed at mitigating estate and income tax. He helps optimize pre-immigration planning, asset-protection structures and global family multi-jurisdiction wealth transfer objectives.
Prior to joining Provenance Wealth Advisors, he worked as managing director of NFP Insurance Solutions in Chicago, Illinois. Earlier in his career, Gerrard held leadership positions with Chicago Mercantile Exchange and co-founded Harrison Trading Group. He was one of the youngest members of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Board of Directors and is past chairman of the board of National Marketing and Learning, a direct marketing and education provider.
Gerrard has sourced, negotiated, advised or funded more than $1 billion in transactions around the globe. He holds Series 7 and 66 licenses.
